The head coach of "Nuremberg," Miroslav Klose, commented on the situation regarding the absence of Ukrainian forward Artem Stepanov from the team roster for the match of the 5th round of the 2. Bundesliga against "Karlsruhe" (1:2).

"Stepanov did not get much playing time during his recent appearance for the Ukraine U-21 team, so we consciously decided to give him playing practice with the U-23 team against a strong opponent. This was also clearly discussed with him. He played a very decent game for the U-23 and even scored a goal," Klose is quoted by Bild.
