In a match against "Shakhtar", midfielder of "Metalist 1925" Ramik Hadjiyev suffered a serious injury to his left leg.

According to Ivan Popov, the head of the club’s sports medicine department, the player has been diagnosed with: "a fracture of the lateral malleolus", "distal syndesmosis rupture", "damage to the deltoid ligament".

The footballer is currently under medical supervision, and surgery is scheduled for next week in Germany. According to medical forecasts, the estimated recovery time is about four months.
