It is reported that the Benfica management has reached a preliminary agreement with Mourinho regarding future cooperation. The parties are currently discussing the final details of the contract, after which the appointment of the specialist will be announced officially.

Interestingly, Benfica was the first club Mourinho managed at the beginning of his coaching career, where he served as head coach.
