Vladimir SharanVladimir Sharan (1971) — former Ukrainian football player who played as a midfielder. He defended the colors of Lviv’s "Karpaty", Kyiv’s "Dynamo", "Dnipro", and "Polygraphtechs". Two-time champion and holder of the Ukrainian Cup. Played 1 match for the national team of Ukraine, did not score any goals. Shortly after finishing his playing career, he became a coach. He was the mentor for Uzhhorod’s "Zakarpattya", Lviv’s "Karpaty", "Alexandria", and "Minai".
Vyacheslav Khruslov (1962) — former Ukrainian football player who played as a defender. A product of Kharkiv football. Most known for his performances with Kyiv’s "Dynamo" and Kharkiv’s "Metalist".
Peter Shilton (1949) — legendary English goalkeeper. World record holder for the most official matches played in a career (1391 — note), also holds the record for the most matches played in the English league. Two-time holder of the European Champions Cup. Participant in three World Cups and two European Championships. Played 125 matches for the England national team, conceding 80 goals.
