Officially. José Mourinho is the head coach of Benfica

The Portuguese club Benfica has announced José Mourinho as the head coach of the first team.

The contract will last for two years — until the end of the 2026/2027 season. However, at the end of the 2025/2026 season, the employment agreement may be terminated if either party notifies within ten days of the last game.

As a reminder, José previously led the «red» capital club in 2000.
