In two days, three representatives of the UPL were eliminated from the Ukrainian Cup by clubs from the First League

On Wednesday and Thursday, part of the matches of the 1/16 finals of the Ukrainian Cup took place. There were surprises. In particular, three representatives of the UPL were eliminated from the tournament, unable to defeat representatives of the First League.

Thus, “Left Bank” lost to Sumy’s “Victoria” (0:1), Chernivtsi’s “Bukovyna” knocked out Lviv’s “Karpaty” (1:0), and Ternopil’s “Niva” crushed “Poltava” (3:0).

In addition, the victory of “Kryvbas” over “Chernihiv” (1:1, penalties — 3:1) is in great doubt: the Kryvyi Rih club violated the limit on legionnaires in this match and is likely to be awarded a technical defeat.

So far, the following teams reached the 1/8 finals of the Ukrainian Cup:

Next week, the remaining matches of the 1/16 finals of the Ukrainian Cup will take place, with only three representatives of the UPL participating — “Metalist 1925”, “Veres”, and “Polesie”.
