Brentford midfielder Yegor Yarmolyuk ranks second in the English Championship for the number of interceptions made among all Premier League midfielders. This is reported by DataMB.
It is reported that since the beginning of the 2025/2026 season, Yarmolyuk has already made 22 interceptions. The only player with more interceptions than the Ukrainian is Chelsea midfielder Moisés Caicedo, who has 23.
Interestingly, Yarmolyuk has outperformed Granit Xhaka (Sunderland) — 21, Tyler Adams (Bournemouth) — 20, and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest) — 19 in the rankings.
