Gremio Midfielder Refused to Move to Shakhtar

Donetsk Shakhtar was interested in the transfer of Brazilian midfielder from Gremio, Gabriel Meca, but the player declined the move.

As journalist Kal’yel Dorneles reports, Shakhtar even raised their offer for Meca to 13 million euros, and also offered an additional 3 million euros in bonuses.

However, the parties could not reach an agreement, as the player himself refused to leave Gremio — he wants to continue playing for the first team of the Brazilian club.
