Some Ukrainian media have once again started discussing the financial capabilities of UPL clubs, leaking information about players' salaries into the public domain. According to the source, there are players in the Cherkasy LNZ who earn 40 thousand euros:
Vasyl Kayiuk“It’s hard for me to talk about financing... I know certain financial conditions of the LNZ players. There are people who earn 40 thousand euros. This is no joke! I definitely know one such person,” said Spivakovsky.
Sport.ua reached out to the CEO of Cherkasy LNZ, Vasyl Kayiuk, who completely denied this information, addressing the journalist:
“I don’t know where Mr. Spivakovsky gets these figures. No LNZ player receives a salary even half of the amount he mentioned. Such statements are not true and only create a false impression of the club,” said Kayiuk.
This season, Vitaliy Ponomaryov’s team is in 8th place in the Ukrainian Championship standings, having 7 points after 5 matches played.
