News from the camp of Kyiv Dynamo’s closest opponent in the main stage of the Conference League. The personnel problems of the English Crystal Palace are easing.
Adam WhartonFirst of all, this concerns the midfielder of the London team Adam Wharton, who sustained an injury to his adductor muscle on August 31 during a match against Aston Villa in the English league. It was expected that the midfielder would miss at least three weeks, but he is now ready to play. This was announced at a press conference by the head coach of Palace, Oliver Glasner.
“Adam is healthy enough to start the match against West Ham (today, in the 5th round of the EPL, — ed. note.). He missed only 10 days, then resumed training and has been working in the main group for several days now,” Glasner said.
Close to returning is the winger of Crystal Palace, Ismaila Sarr, who suffered a strain to his hamstring in the same match against Aston Villa: he will resume training this Sunday. Glasner hopes that the midfielder will be fit for the match against Liverpool (September 27).
Finally, Palace goalkeeper Walter Benitez, who dislocated his pinky during training last Wednesday, is also expected to return to training soon, specifically just in time for the match against Dynamo, which will take place on October 2 in Lublin in the 1st round of the main stage of the Conference League.
