The former Bayern Munich defender and 2014 World Champion Jerome Boateng, who has announced his retirement as a player, confirmed his intention to start a coaching career.
Jerome BoatengThe footballer stated that he has already received a UEFA Category B license and plans to obtain an A license to start working as an assistant coach in a professional club as soon as possible.
Boateng completed his studies in November 2024 at a special course by the Bavarian Football Association. He played 76 matches for the German national team, won the 2014 World Cup, and the U-21 Euro in 2009. In 2016, he was recognized as Footballer of the Year in Germany.
