The sparring match proved to be fruitful. In the first half, the Australians scored twice. After the break, the Ukrainians managed to equalize thanks to goals from Kyrylo Dihtiar and Danil Krevsyun. However, in stoppage time, the opponents snatched victory by scoring a third goal.
Recall that in the group stage of the 2025 World Cup (U-20), the blue and yellow team will have to play against the teams of South Korea (September 27), Panama (September 30), and Paraguay (October 3).
