The 2nd Corps of the National Guard «Charter» announces the creation of a new unit — the unmanned systems battalion «Lava». It focuses on all the latest technologies and developments in the field of unmanned and robotic systems acquired by «Charter» and other brigades of the corps.

Mission of the Battalion
“Lava” will become a unit aimed at significantly enhancing the combat capabilities of the corps brigades through:
deep reconnaissance and pinpoint strikes behind enemy lines;
automated data collection and analysis using AI;
development of logistical solutions for combat conditions;
widespread use of aerial and ground unmanned systems.
Structure and Functions
The battalion will unite all areas of unmanned aerial vehicle use:
reconnaissance and observation (real-time, high-precision imagery);
fire engagement, mining, and demining;
logistics and medical evacuation;
assault operations (robotic complexes for challenging tasks).
Recruitment
The «Charter» Corps needs the following for the «Lava» battalion:
Engineers, technicians, programmers (development and maintenance of systems);
UAV pilots, operators of ground complexes (operation of unmanned vehicles);
Data analysts, IT specialists (information processing, AI);
Logisticians, drivers, finance specialists (support for the unit);
Staff officers (planning, coordination, personnel).
Experience and Achievements
«Charter» has already proven its ability to implement innovations:
the first robotic assault operation in Ukraine;
use of ground robots for medical evacuation;
development of data collection and analytics systems for unmanned complexes.
