Famous Spanish midfielder Sergio Busquets, who is currently a player for American club Inter Miami, announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 37.

Busquets gained fame while playing for Spanish club Barcelona. During his time there, he became a 9-time champion of Spain, a 7-time winner of the Copa del Rey, a 7-time winner of the Supercopa de España, a 3-time winner of the Champions League, a 3-time winner of the UEFA Super Cup, and a 3-time winner of the FIFA Club World Cup. As part of the Spanish national team, the midfielder became World Champion in 2010 and European Champion in 2012.
