Wayne Rooney«It was in 2008 when I was trying to battle alcoholism. I didn’t think I could reach out to anyone. I could drink for two days straight, then come to training with chewing gum, score two goals on the weekend, and drink for another two days.
My wife Coleen is just amazing. She noticed when everything was getting out of control and helped me. I truly believe that if it weren’t for Coleen, I would already be dead. She really saved my life,» Rooney told ESPN.
