The head coach of Ternopil Niva, Yuri Virt, shared his reaction to the draw of the Round of 16 of the Ukrainian Cup, which assigned his team to face Chernivtsi Bukovina at this stage of the tournament.

First of all, because, in my opinion, it is Bukovina that currently demonstrates the most meaningful game in the First League and is the main contender for promotion. Secondly, we are also unlucky because we have to play in Chernivtsi, where Sergey Shishenko’s team plays confidently with strong support from their fans.
But, be that as it may, everything will be decided on the football field. By the way, on October 8, we will first play against Bukovina in the 10th round of the First League championship in Ternopil. We will strive to earn three points, as this would give us a psychological advantage in the cup confrontation. It will be very important to consider every detail, as the ticket to the next round will be determined by the outcome of one match. That is why it is advisable to avoid mistakes,» Virt said.
