Manchester City forward Erling Haaland contributed to the rout of Burnley (5:1) in the English Premier League. The striker scored twice and became the highest-scoring Norwegian in Premier League history.

The star of the Citizens has recorded 93 goals. Haaland surpassed former Manchester United forward Ole Gunnar Solskjær, who scored 91 goals in the elite English division from 1996 to 2007.

The new national record holder played only 103 matches in the EPL. In contrast, Solskjær played 235 matches for Manchester United in the English league.
