Today in Ukraine, Defender’s Day is celebrated. This day is dedicated to all Ukrainians involved in the defense of the Motherland — servicemen, volunteers, border guards, veterans, and everyone who protects our country. On behalf of FC Dynamo, the president of the club Ihor Surkis congratulated Ukrainian heroes on their holiday.

Today we especially honor all those who are fighting and defending our Motherland. Thank you for your bravery, resilience, courage, audacity, and strength of spirit. Every day you risk your lives so that Ukraine can uphold its right to independent development and you fight for the values of the free world.
Without you, this beautiful Ukraine would not exist. It is you who have become the shield that holds back the Russian invasion and allows not only our state to exist but many others that may become the next target of this aggressive and hostile country. We are immensely grateful to the Heroes for their feat and honor the warriors who died in battle.
You are the bravest people in the world! You are our pride and an example for every Ukrainian. On this holiday, I want to wish for what every Ukrainian dreams of — the swiftest victory, the arrival of peace, and happiness in every family. May all Ukrainian heroes return to their homes as soon as possible!
