In the second match of the 2025 World Championship in Chile, the youth national team of Ukraine (U-20) drew with Panama (1:1). After the match, midfielder Danilo Krevsun shared his emotions with the UAF press service.
Danilo Krevsun«I believe that there should have been a victory in this match. However, the game did not go the best way. There were many unnecessary ball losses, a lot of confusion. In some moments, we needed to act calmer and capitalize on our chances. Of course, we are all upset, but there is another match ahead. Starting tomorrow, we will focus on it and prepare. Nothing terrible has happened.
It was harder with South Korea since in the second half that team dominated. And in the match against Panama, we had the ball more often, fought one-on-one all over the field. We needed to play more through the flanks, but that was not always successful. As for the last match, there is no point in counting points now — we just need to go out and win,» said Krevsun.
