Journalist and commentator Viktor Vatsko commented on the first matches of Dynamo’s newcomer, central defender Aliou Tiaré.
Viktor Vatsko— In my opinion, considering that Tiaré is just starting at Dynamo, he looks quite good. It’s clear that he’s new to the team and has some communication issues, but his good qualities are also evident. He works well with the ball, passes decently, and attempts to develop attacks. Moreover, he does this in a non-standard way: he is not afraid to take responsibility and plays forward boldly. He doesn’t look for “alibi football” for a high percentage of pass accuracy — backwards or sideways. On the contrary, he has played a lot in the third zone, and often those passes were successful. I like this bravery.
I also like that he puts up a decent fight. He has an interesting physique and movement style: sometimes it seems like his legs and arms are living separate lives. But thanks to his long legs, he intercepts the balls well. Against Karpaty, he had nine interceptions — the best figure in the team. He also blocked two shots. The only question is his heading ability: Sebaïos, despite being shorter, looks more convincing in aerial duels. But these are just first impressions; it’s necessary to watch further.
Another plus in signing Tiaré is that he did not fail at the start. On the contrary, his benefit to Dynamo is already visible. He was bought for one million euros, and based on what he shows in the first matches, the player has a chance to «shake up» the competition among central defenders. I really hope that his presence additionally motivates Taras Mykhavko, making him work and fight for a place in the squad. This will benefit Mykhavko himself and Dynamo Kyiv as a whole,” Vatsko said on his YouTube channel.
