Girona head coach Michel Sanchez stated that a group of players from the team, including Viktor Tsygankov, will not help his team in the upcoming La Liga match against Valencia.
Michel Sanchez“I am very concerned about the injury situation, but this is our reality. He played with discomfort against Espanyol, he said everything was fine, but he has a minor injury. Tsygankov, Abel Ruiz, Lemar, Van de Beek, Joel, and Krapitsov are out.
As for Tsygankov specifically, he will go to his national team, and they will determine whether he is ready to play or not. There is no injury now, but he feels unwell,” Sanchez is quoted by journalist Neil Sola on his Twitter page.
Recall that Tsygankov sustained his injury on August 24 in a La Liga match against Villarreal (0:5).
