The triumphant season of Dynamo in 1975, in which the «white-blues» won the Cup Winners' Cup and gold medals of the USSR championship, culminated in victory in the UEFA Super Cup.

After defeating Bayern in Munich in the first leg (1:0), on October 6 at home, the Kyiv team convincingly secured an overall victory — 3:0 on aggregate!
