The Ukrainian national team held its first full training session in Poland as part of the preparation for the upcoming qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup — against Iceland (October 10, Reykjavik) and Azerbaijan (October 13, Krakow).
Photo: UAFToday, October 8, in the evening, the team will head to Reykjavik. On the 9th, the traditional pre-match press conference of Serhiy Rebrov and one of his players will take place there (starting at 20:30 Kyiv time), followed by training (21:00 Kyiv time) at the venue for the Iceland vs. Ukraine match, the «Laugardalsvöllur» stadium. The return to Poland is scheduled for October 11.
On October 12 in Krakow, the traditional events before the Ukraine vs. Azerbaijan match will be held. At 17:30 local time, there will be a press conference with Serhiy Rebrov and one of his players, and at 18:00, the training session of the Ukrainian national team will begin.
Communication with representatives of the Azerbaijani media and training of our opponents will begin at 19:30 and 20:00 local time, respectively.
