In the Round of 16 match of the 2025 World Cup in Chile, the Ukrainian U-20 national team lost to Spain (0:1) and concluded their participation in the tournament. After the match, defender Vladislav Kisil shared his emotions with the UAF press service.

For me, it was a very important game, as well as the World Cup itself. After all, it was my first call-up to the national team — and such a high level of the tournament. We knew Spain would play like this and we prepared for it. We played well, but we were a bit short upfront to level the score,” Kisil said.
