Danilo Krevsun— Of course, the game was difficult for us, but I am satisfied with the team — we fought until the end, gave our all, although, unfortunately, the result was not in our favor. We lacked execution in some moments, but Spain is one of the best teams in this World Cup. We really fought valiantly, just today wasn’t our lucky day.
Yes, we are upset, but we must say that we are making history: we don’t participate in the World Cup very often, and for us, for the whole country — this is a big achievement. It was incredible to see so many fans who came to support us — we truly appreciate it.
In the locker room after the first half, we talked about how everything would work out, that we needed to hold on until the end, to seize our moments… but this time it didn’t happen. However, thanks to all the fans for their support — it was very nice to hear you, and we felt that the entire stadium was cheering for us, — said Danilo.
