The midfielder of the English club «Brentford» and the Ukrainian national team, Yegor Yarmolyuk, will not play in tomorrow’s match against the Iceland national team in the qualification tournament for the 2026 World Cup. This was announced during the pre-match press conference by the head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Serhiy Rebrov.
Yegor Yarmolyuk“Unfortunately, Yegor is not ready to play. But he is recovering. We hope that the day after tomorrow he will start training with the main group and will be ready for the next match.
As for the rest, you know the situation. Unfortunately, there are many injuries. But we have called up other players who we believe can replace those who are out and must solve the tasks in the two upcoming matches,” said Rebrov.
We remind you that earlier there was information that Yarmolyuk sustained a ligament injury in his ankle during his last match for his club.
