Ukraine national team midfielder Heorhiy Sudakov announced that due to an injury he sustained during the 2026 World Cup qualifying match against Iceland, he is leaving the national team camp.
Heorhiy Sudakov’Unfortunately, this camp ended for me. I hope for a quick recovery. I wish the guys victory in the next match,' Sudakov wrote on his Instagram page.
Let us remind you, our midfielder suffered a shoulder injury in the first half of yesterday’s match, when an Iceland player met him in the center of the field, openly committing a foul.
As a result, Sudakov will miss the upcoming match against Azerbaijan, which will take place on Monday, October 13.
