In October, during the match against Iceland (5−3) in Reykjavik in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, the midfielder of Zhytomyr’s Polissya, Vladyslav Veletin, debuted for the Ukrainian national team, replacing his clubmate Oleksiy Hutsulyak in the 87th minute.
