The Polish club «Widzew» announced the appointment of its new head coach, former coach of Lviv’s «Karpaty», «Dnipro-1» and Donetsk’s «Shakhtar», Igor Jovicevic.
Igor JovicevicThe Lodz club has reportedly signed a contract with the 51-year-old specialist until the summer of 2027. Jovicevic will begin working with his new team today.
Let us recall that Jovicevic’s last club was the Bulgarian «Ludogorets», with whom he achieved a treble last season—winning the championship title, as well as the Bulgarian Cup and Super Cup. Last summer, the Croatian left «Ludogorets» by mutual agreement of the parties.
