On Friday, October 17, Kyiv’s 'Dynamo' played another match in the Ukrainian Championship (U-19). The opponents for the 'white-blues' were the youth of Luhansk’s 'Zoria'. Despite the away status for Ihor Kostyuk’s wards, the match took place in Vyta-Lytovska at the club’s Dynamo base.

The nominal guests tried to control the ball from the first minutes, but apart from territorial advantage, they couldn’t particularly boast about creating chances to score. The opponents acted quite reliably on the approaches and within their penalty area, so for a long time, the match didn’t reach a dangerous point. Meanwhile, the Luhansk team also tried not to sit back in defense, bursting into counterattacks but with little success in the final stages of attacks.
The first truly dangerous moment came in the 20th minute when Bekerskyi hit a one-touch shot, connecting a cross from the right flank, but the ball flew over the goal. In the 31st minute, Dynamo had an attack through the center, Osypenko set up Ponomarenko for a shot, but the forward lost the duel to the goalkeeper, who parried Matviy’s strike.
Ihor Kostyuk’s wards continued to apply pressure, and the opponents often stopped our players only through fouls. As for the opportunities to score, after a corner delivery, Ohroditov failed to deliver a focused header on goal, and Korobov’s free-kick from 30 meters out was caught by the goalkeeper.
Just before the break, the 'white-blues' had another great chance to score. Redushko made a delivery from a free-kick into the penalty area, the ball was heading into the goal, but the goalkeeper tipped it onto the post with his fingertips. The ball bounced back into the field, where Ishchenko was first to react and struck on the volley, but the goalkeeper managed to get back on his feet and made a second save, deflecting the ball to a corner.
The second half started with another dangerous moment near the nominal hosts' goal. Osypenko freed himself from his opponent’s marking in the midfield, advanced to the penalty area, and shot from 22 meters, but the ball went just wide of the post. The Luhansk team responded with Rybchak’s dangerous strike, which Surkis managed, covering the ball.
In the 58th minute, the ball finally found its way into 'Zoria’s net when Ponomarenko finished Liusin’s cross, but he did so from an offside position, so unfortunately the score remained unchanged. And in the 75th minute, Redushko fired a superb free-kick from the left corner of the penalty area, but the ball flew over the crossbar.
In the final minutes, the 'white-blues' pinned the opponent near their penalty area, but shots from Ozymay, Redushko, and Korobov (from a free-kick and a header after a corner delivery) were not destined to be goals. Despite this, Ihor Kostyuk’s wards could have completely lost the match when Sheremeta made a dangerous strike from 25 meters, but Surkis, diving, pulled the ball from the corner of the goal.
The last chance to score the winning goal was missed by Liusin when he shot unchallenged from the center of the penalty area, but the ball flew over the crossbar. As a result, a goalless draw — 'Dynamo', unfortunately, loses points.
