Ex-footballer of 'Karpaty' and 'Veres' wounded at the front and needs help

Former footballer of Lviv’s 'Karpaty', Rivne’s 'Veres', and several other Ukrainian clubs Mykola Zakotyuk was wounded at the front and now needs help, reports the Rivne Regional Football Association on its Facebook page.

As the soldier’s wife explained, Mykola joined the army on April 19, 2025. He defended near Kostiantynivka. While leaving the position, he received a mine-explosive wound.

Currently, Zakotyuk is in the hospital. A long rehabilitation is ahead. The family needs support.
