In the 9th round match of the Ukrainian Championship Zorya — Dynamo, a historic event took place in Ukrainian football: the captain of the Luhansk club, Pylyp Budkivskyi, became the author of the milestone (19,000th!) goal in the tournament’s history.

All goals were scored by players from 53 clubs, with Dynamo players most frequently celebrating a goal — 2158 times, followed by Shakhtar with 2147, and Dnipro with 1130.
The most goals were scored against the nets of Vorskla — 1011, Chornomorets — 1007, and the old format of Karpaty — 999.
As of the morning of October 19, exactly 19,000 goals have been scored in the UPL: 11,178 at home, 7,813 away, and 9 on neutral ground.
