As it became known to Sport.ua, Donetsk’s Shakhtar has proposed their terms for renewing the contract with Yukhym Konoplia.
Yukhym KonopliaThe defender is being offered $700,000 per year or approximately $60,000 per month under the new contract.
The player himself has not yet decided whether he wants to stay at Shakhtar or continue his career in Europe.
Earlier it was reported that defender Yukhym Konoplia, whose contract expires in the summer of 2026, set an astronomical salary demand — $1.5 million per year. No Brazilian in the club receives such a sum. Konoplia wants to be the highest-paid player in the club and refuses to negotiate on other terms.
