Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher believes that Arne Slot should rotate Mohamed Salah.
Mohamed Salah— I think Salah should not automatically be in the starting lineup, just like Van Dijk. Liverpool has two away games ahead. I don’t think Salah should start in both of these matches. He should always start in the games the team plays at Anfield. Because with him, Liverpool will play excellently around the penalty area. And in situations like today’s, he scores more frequently.
But coming out for away games and helping his fullback in defense, I don’t think, given his form right now, Salah should start every match, especially away.
Will he agree to this? Probably not. But when you reach a certain age, you have to accept it, especially when the game isn’t going well. What can you argue? — said Jamie Carragher.
