The Spanish Championship match between «Villarreal» and «Barcelona», which was supposed to take place in the USA, has been canceled.
According to the Bombardir telegram channel, after public pressure and strikes by Spanish Championship teams, La Liga decided to cancel the match in the USA and move it back to «Estadio de la Cerámica».
In its statement, La Liga «deeply regrets that the historic and unprecedented opportunity for the international expansion of Spanish football could not be realized».
