On Thursday, October 23, «Dynamo» will play the match of the second round of the overall stage of the Conference League, where they will meet away with the Turkish «Samsunspor».

The journey of Oleksandr Shovkovskyi’s team to Turkey began on Monday evening. The «Blue-Whites» reached the Polish city of Chelm by night train, from where they traveled by bus to Lublin.
In this city, which is home for Kyivans during European Cup matches this season, the team held training on the field near the «Arena Lublin».
On Wednesday morning, the Dynamo team flew to Samsun, arriving in the afternoon. After lunch and rest, the team attended traditional pre-match events. First, the main coach of «Dynamo» Oleksandr Shovkovskyi and goalkeeper Ruslan Neshcheret answered questions from the media in the regulation press conference.
Then training began at the stadium where the match will take place. Per UEFA regulations, it lasted no more than an hour, with the first 15 minutes open to the media.
Notably, injured defenders Oleksandr Tymchyk, Vladyslav Dubinchak and Christian Bilovar, midfielder Mykola Shaparenko, winger Angel Torres, as well as Andriy Yarmolenko, who will miss the match due to a cold, did not travel to Samsun. Goalkeeper Vyacheslav Surkis, defender Vladyslav Zakharchenko, and forward Matviy Ponomarenko were engaged in the «Dynamo U-19» match, which won against the Swedish team «Brommapojkarna» in the UEFA Youth League.
