Athens «Panathinaikos» has appointed Spanish coach Rafael Benitez as the new team leader.

Details of Benitez’s personal agreement with «Panathinaikos» have not been disclosed, but according to Greek media, the cooperation between the parties is planned for the next 2.5 years, and the specialist will earn 5 million euros per season at the Greek club.
