Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United explained why he refused to move to Saudi Arabia during the summer transfer window.
Bruno Fernandes— The coach spoke with me. He said that I am still part of the project. He wanted me to stay. The club said the same. And I always said that if the club said something like, «Bruno, we want to earn money, you are 30 years old. We need to earn. We don’t see you as part of the future project» or something like that, I would have to find a solution that would be best for me and my family. And I would leave.
