GRU Officer Andriy Savenko commented on the mobilization of former Kyiv «Dynamo» goalkeeper Arthur Rudko.
Arthur Rudko— Being afraid in war is normal. If you’re not afraid, then something’s wrong, and you need to think it over and maybe undergo some treatment, because everyone wants to live, and fear is present. There’s nothing deadly about being afraid, but he can perform other tasks in the rear, because that work also needs to be done.
To shoot on the frontline, someone needs to supply the cartridges. If Rudko is afraid, then let him do something in the rear, help, and join the defense of Ukraine. I cannot comment on the situation at the border itself, as once again I do not have complete information to answer this question, — Savenko said.
