The graduate of Kyiv’s «Dynamo», Vladyslav Veletin, shared his impressions from debuting for the Ukrainian national team.
Vladyslav Veletin— Generally speaking, probably everyone in the national team impressed with their level. All the players are of very high class. Malinovskyi played two great games recently — I think the whole country sees it and, honestly, is pleasantly shocked. Zabarnyi is truly a top defender.
I don’t want to single anyone out because everyone shows a high level. This is immediately felt when you arrive at the national team — even in small details, you can see that the pace, speed of thought, and level of decision-making are significantly higher.
As for my role in the team — it’s too early to say. Many guys were injured, so I got a chance, an additional call. I thank the coaching staff for their trust. The main thing now is to have game minutes to show myself. You need to prove that you can help the national team and that you can handle this level, — said Veletin on Ihor Tsyhanyk’s YouTube channel.
