Currently, the 36-year-old player holds the 4th place in the top scorers ranking of the Ukrainian championship, trailing the top 3 by just two goals. To break the absolute top scorer record, held by another forward with extensive experience playing for Dynamo, Maksym Shatskikh, Yarmolenko needs 9 more goals.
