The Disciplinary Committee, in justifying its decision, stated the following: «His behavior contradicts sports order. If it had been a more serious violation, he would have been disqualified for four to ten matches or fined from 602 to 3006 euros».
As a result, Lunin is disqualified for one match and will miss Real’s upcoming game against Valencia.
