After the 1/8 final match of the Ukrainian Football Cup between LNZ and Rukh, the head coach of the Lviv club Ivan Fedyk believed that the referee did not award an obvious penalty against the hosts in the 54th minute.

“In football, shoulder-to-shoulder pushing is allowed. Therefore, home player Nonikashvili fought with Kvasnytsia according to the rules. Kvasnytsia’s fall was impressive because he was standing on his supporting leg, and it was difficult for him to maintain balance. That’s why referee Omelchenko made the right decision by not reacting to this game episode,” Stupar believes.
