Having secured a victory in the 1/8 finals of the Ukrainian Cup over Ternopil’s «Nyva» 2:1, Chernivtsi’s «Bukovyna» will continue its campaign in the quarterfinals. One of the leaders of «Bukovyna», Vitalii Dakhnovskyi, shared whom he would like to face as the opponent in the next round.

Last season, we reached the semifinals for the first time in our history, where we lost to „Dynamo.“ And now we are one step away from repeating this prestigious result.
As for the match, on October 8, we played against „Nyva“ in match 10 of the First League and got to know each other well. By the way, these matches followed a similar scenario. We were leading 2:0, and „Nyva“ reduced the gap to a minimum by the end.
I cannot say that we deliberately eased off in the last minutes to conserve energy for the scheduled match against the main pursuer in the First League, „Chornomorets,“ which will take place on November 2. It just happened: Ternopil had a good combination play. However, in my opinion, „Bukovyna’s“ superiority was unquestionable,» Dakhnovskyi said.
