Dynamo forward Matviy Ponomarenko scored a double in the away match of the 11th round of the Youth League (U-19) against Shakhtar Donetsk (2:3).

Photo: fcdynamo.comThus, the Dynamo player brought his goal tally in the tournament to 46 (including 6 for Zorya, for which he played on loan in the 2022/2023 season), surpassing his former clubmate Dmytro Kremchanin to become the best scorer in the history of the Ukrainian Championship (U-19).
It should be noted that this is already Matviy’s fourth season in the youth championship, during which time he has played 77 matches (24 for Zorya, 53 for Dynamo).
