On October 19, one of the largest museums in the world, the Louvre in Paris, was robbed. The perpetrators stole Napoleon and Empress Eugenie’s jewels from the Apollo Gallery.
Photo: Getty ImagesAccording to RMC Sport, four suspects in the Louvre robbery were apprehended in line near the stadium before the 10th round of the French championship match between 'Paris' and 'Lyon' (3−3).
It is known that the arrest of these four suspects is only part of the investigation, as two other men involved in the criminal team had already been detained earlier.
It should be added that the total value of the stolen jewels is estimated at 88 million euros.
