Former Tottenham goalkeeper decides to retire at 27 to become a director

Former Tottenham goalkeeper Alfie Whiteman has decided to end his professional career after his contract with the London club expired. This was reported by the Spurs' press service.

It is reported that Whiteman decided to stop playing professionally at the age of 27 to pursue a career as a director.

Whiteman is a Tottenham academy graduate but played only one match for the first team. His contract with the club ended in July 2025.
