The director of Dynamo’s media department, Andriy Shakhov, spoke about the notes of the former coach of the Kyiv team, Valeriy Lobanovsky.

It’s his handwriting, he wrote them himself. Lobanovsky and Bazylevych were the first football coaches to combine sports and science. They structured their trainings from a scientific point of view. Therefore, each of their training sessions was documented.
Many wondered, «Where exactly are these notes?» I myself found out only in May this year after the last championship match when we celebrated the championship. I mentioned that we had a banquet where the team’s presidents and coaching staff were present. Leonid Buryak, a club legend, came to the celebration. He brought a huge bag with a folder of papers. Buryak approached Shovkovsky and said, "All these notes were with me. I was looking for the right moment to pass them on from generation to generation. I’m giving them to you and congratulating you on the championship in this way.
So now we can officially say that Lobanovsky’s notes are with Oleksandr Shovkovsky. I even held them in my hands. When we were going to the car and someone wanted to take a photo with our coach, he asked me to hold the notes. And there you are, standing and holding in your hands what so many rumors and legends are about.
Here is a note from one training session,' Andriy points to two sheets of paper behind glass. 'Can you even imagine how many of these notes there are? One part could be with Shovkovsky, another with Buryak, and yet another part would be here in the museum,' said Shakhov.
