SC Poltava has been involved in a potential match-fixing scandal for the fifth time this season. This was stated by the former head of the UAF Ethics and Fair Play Committee, Francesco Baranka, in a comment to former journalist Ihor Burbas, writes the Telegram channel 'Fight-Run'.

Baranka’s monitoring system has sent five (!) alarming signals about matches involving Poltava since the start of the season. He recalled specific games: against Rukh, Obolon, a cup match against Nyva, and the last round match against Krivbas. The latest match showed 'abnormal activity' with bets on 'total over 1.5' in the first half. The odds were strange from the first minutes, indicating 'money pouring in'.
According to Baranka, 'professionals' are behind this, orchestrating the game. He emphasizes that 3+ cases are already a 'pattern', not a coincidence.
Baranka speaks of bets amounting to 'around half a million or 1 million euros', closer to a million. He drew a direct parallel with the infamous 'Olympic' story — the last time such abnormal bet volumes regularly occurred on this club’s matches.
