Former head coach of Donetsk’s “Shakhtar” Marino Pušić is a native of Mostar, a Bosnian city represented by “Zrinjski”, the closest opponent of Kyiv’s “Dynamo” in the main stage of the Conference League.
At the request of Bosnian journalists, the 54-year-old specialist evaluated the Ukrainian opponent “Zrinjski”.
Marino Pušić— “Dynamo” is a good team, it’s not easy to beat them, especially in the domestic league. They are physically strong, but they also know how to play. They are also known for their quick transition to attack after intercepting the ball, which is their traditional strength.
“Dynamo” doesn’t take European competition matches too seriously because their main goal now is the Ukrainian Championship and the Ukrainian Cup, where they have all the chances to win. It is quite possible that they will rotate their lineup for the match against “Zrinjski”, which will become weaker than the base.
“Dynamo” sold their best player and top scorer of the last Ukrainian Championship, Vanat, but the team still has other strong forwards like Yarmolenko and Guerrero. I am sure that “Zrinjski” will conduct a deep tactical analysis of “Dynamo”.
As for the situation with holding nominally home European competition matches away from home and all the accompanying logistics of traveling, it certainly leaves a mark on the players, but everyone somehow manages. I would say that everyone is already used to it, as the war, unfortunately, has been going on for several years. Expenses are high, but there are also obligations to the country, the need to present themselves in Europe, and achieve the best result. At least, that was the case with us, but I think the same applies to “Dynamo”, — quotes Pušić Bljesak.info.
